Experience
My experience in education has taught me that anyone has the ability to master math as long as they're learning in the right way and they're working with an educator that motivates them. Ever since I was a high school student, I've been helping my peers overcome various challenges in algebra, geometry, and various other math subjects. I've also worked professionally as a math teacher, where I was in charge of creating lesson plans and classroom strategies designed to help students learn how to correctly use math in their day-to-day lives. When it comes to my favorite subject to teach, math is, hands down, the subject I enjoy the most - especially geometry. I love working with students and helping them to gain insight into various math principles so that they also learn how to appreciate the material they learn in class. I hold a number of degrees, including a bachelor's degree from Tufts University in classical studies and community health, as well as a bachelor's and master's in education and math. I also attended law school at Case Western Reserve University, but I ultimately decided to pursue a career in education over one in law. When I'm not teaching math, I like to take photographs, do arts and crafts, and spend time with my friends and family.
