I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Languages. I received my degree in 2013 from OSU. At present, I am completing a master's degree in Classical Languages at the University of Georgia. For the past several years, I have taught Latin Grammar from intro levels to levels that are more advanced. My tutoring experience also includes teaching Ancient Mythology, Ancient Greek, and Roman and Greek culture. When tutoring, I like to arm my students with the tools that can help them solve grammar challenges by themselves.I do believe that students learn best in a friendly environment. I think it allows them to voice their concerns about challenges or struggles that they may be facing. This allows me to help them work through their difficulties. I like to hear when students tell me that they do not know something. Not knowing is the first step to gaining the knowledge to improve. When not tutoring, I like to cook, read fiction, work on basic carpentry projects, and visit state parks with my dog.
