Qualifications Summary: I have a passion for teaching and helping others, whether its in biology, chemistry, math or music. I have a PhD, Masters, and Bachelor degree in biology and have several years experience teaching biology courses at the college level. Currently, I teach science and math to adults who did not complete high school and who want to take their GED. I would also feel very comfortable teaching chemistry courses and other related science courses. In addition, I completed a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition where I took several music theory and composition courses. I have played the flute for 19 years and played in many ensembles during my high school and undergraduate careers (see below). I also played the saxophone and piano, mainly during high school and as an undergraduate. While I would be comfortable teaching beginning to advanced flute students, I only feel comfortable teaching beginning sax and piano as I have not had as much experience on these instruments.
